The Division of Teacher Education was established in 1979 and provided courses for the Dept. of Business Administration, Accounting, Music, Arts, and Regional Development. Now there are 26 fields of study offering Teacher Education including the Dept. of Korean Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, German Language and Literature, Philosophy, Chinese Language and Literature, Trade, Business Administration, Accounting, Tourism Management, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biology, Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, Ceramic Engineering, Precision Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Metal Engineering, Food Science, Plant Science, Music, Arts, and Crafts.

The teacher education curriculum operates separately from the regular Majors. If the students complete the teaching course on top of their primary Major, they can acquire Grade 2 Regular Teacher Qualification for Secondary Schools.
